This government-approved child protection training course is essential for educators, childcare workers, healthcare professionals, and community service workers who have a duty of care to children and young people. The course builds knowledge and awareness of child protection responsibilities, helping participants to:

Participants will also gain an understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks that underpin child protection, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, relevant legislation, duty of care, and ethical responsibilities.

Upon completion of CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk, participants will be equipped to identify, respond to, and report concerns, fulfilling their legal and ethical obligations to protect children and young people.
